Clandestine Contemplations – Battle of the Venues

Well the first thing I have to mention today is that I have a name for my articles now! Congratulations to Lupercl for coming up with this, and thanks to all that entered. Unfortunately I can’t remember who did enter, and in the switch over the original article with its comments isn’t around any more, so please comment on this one. I have lots of prizes and given there weren’t that many entrants I reckon I can spare something for everybody.

Marvel Universe back in stock.

I was browsing through the Vs. System blogosphere, trying to catch up on all that I’ve missed whilst away on holiday, when I happened upon a post by CarlostheDwarf over at Vs-Blog.com.  Marvel Universe has been reprinted and is back in stock!

The players were united in there disappointment in the print runs for Marvel Legends, DC Legends and Marvel Universe, with the sets selling out at lightening speed.  The community stood up from their table, walked sheepishly (well, quite bullishly in reality) over to the UDE overlords and said

“Please sir, can I have some more”. 

 

The reply? 

 

“More? 

MORE? 

Of course you can son!”

We asked for it, and UDE listened.  A new print run has hit the distributors, so get your empty bowls and head on down to you local store.

Marvel Universe exclusive previews

It’s BOGOF time on The-Kamiza.com today. If you don’t know what BOGOF is, it stands for Buy One, Get One Free. And that’s exactly what we’re doing here today, we’re giving you a Marvel Universe preview and chucking in another one completely free! The Vs System Fans Choice allowed us, the players, to have a say in the direction that Marvel Universe would take. Week three

 

of the voting gave us our options, and we picked Captain America. On week four we got to pick the Keywords that would be prominent on the Cap and in the set. We wanted to be led, so we chose Leader. Week six gave us several abilities for our legend and the version we chose is now before you in all its cardboard glory.

For those who have been complaining about a lack of activity on VS System.com recently, Monday 31st March was a good day.  Not only did we see a all-new edition of Ryan Alarie’s Spin Doctoring, but we also got a great Vs System update from “The” Ben Seck.
